Hey guys and girls Just a quick sum up of our recent fashion show, which took place on the 11/9/10 at the enmore theatre.
First of, as some of you may already know on the 2/8/10 one of my closest friend passed away in a tragic accident. He was my biggest inspiration and one of the biggest reasons Tentacle Threads is here. he always pushed me to design and get stuff out there, and was my hardest critic. He would tell me when he thought a design was crap or when he thought i could do better. I will be forever thankful for this. His birthday fell on the same day as Lunarmorph.
So as a tribute to this amazing man, I used one of his songs 'Trainwreck Girls' and used some of the stuff we designed together. If he was there (which im sure he was) He defs would have enjoyed it!
My Fantastic patternmaker Krystal and myself spent the week leading up to this working round the clock, and in our final 3 days we had about 2 hours sleep each nite! and i was still sewing on buttons saturday morning =s , fourtunately it all pulled together beautifully and i couldn't be happier with the end result!!
